ATTENTION:
This is probably the full intro of Advent Chaos. No, seriously:
Since the beginning of time, the Gods have long since established their rule upon the Nine Realms, created out of their individual rule. Of all Gods, there was the Creator, the One of supreme and eternal power, whose rule knew no equal. But the rebellion of the Creator’s greatest general caused the downfall of His army, and thus the dark power of the Hellgods was born, and thus, the Gods ordered a safeguard be put in place should they rise up to battle again. And they did. Constantly, the Deities and Hellkings have waged constant war throughout the millennia, each clash spawning battle-ravaged multiverses. It was then that the Creator became tired of all the wars waged over and over, and created inhabitants for the five of his realms, four having been taken away from him by the Hellgods. He had created weak but intelligent beings, known as humans. These humans came to worship these Gods over the millennia, while the Hellgods, jealous of these well-done creations, made their own version of these so-called “masterpieces”, and thus the kingdom of Inhumans reigned on the surface of the Hellplane. The Gods and Hellgods now even more craved for war. The Creator finally unleashed his wrath, a wrath so great that it forged a truce between these two opposing beings of good and evil. Born of His wrath were two weapons of fate. This became the target of all living creatures on the realms. Meant to be a safeguard for use against whoever rebels with insatiable bloodlust. These weapons soon became discovered by an order of warriors, and they called these sacred weapons “Darq Talons”. The Gods then made a prophecy. The prophecy told of a wielder of these weapons and how he would lead the Great War against evil. That time has come. But things aren’t as they seem, for not all prophecies end up in complete expectation… What has been brought forth…is Chaos.

Equipment Info:
Armour: Metal God/ Draconis Negladinica Armour (skin)
Made from the bones of a fallen Metal God, the armor once served as the skeletal structure of a powerful Metal God, but the time came to wage war against the foreign Gods and this legendary god fell tragically. He is rumoured to be alive, but as fragile as a human and a completely different being known as the Unmortal, an exiled race of fallen gods. Leaving his skeletal shell behind in the wastelands, this warrior was resourceful and creative enough to supply armor for himself for battle. Through the years, it has also fallen victim to yet another prophecy, this time forged by a defiant Dragonlord by the name of Dracius. It is said that over the years, should this warrior continue to brandish this armour, Draconic symbolisms and carvings should surface to the steel, representing the presence of the Dragonlord and giving the wearer protection against most draconian sorcery. Nuvia did a little research and has gotten himself used to the armor. It was then that he was called “Ego Draconis Heldaur” or “Heldaur of the Dragon” by the Draconians, using his middle name. Later on, the armor eventually grew stronger and was called Draconis Negladinica, a name of Latin and Stygian understanding meaning “Dragonspride”. To add more comfortability and less metal, he added his tattered banners and bloody flags to supply as a sash and scarf. This is only one of the skins available for him in the game.

Weapons: Gunblade, Memental Sword, Darq Talons

The Ripper
The Ripper, or simply Ripper for short, is a gunblade made from parts of a Metal God’s Head. The Fallen Metal god’s exoskeleton also served as means for creating different kinds of weapons. Nuvia also made a custom katana-esque gunblade that can be modified by other people. He has been using this for a long time now. In fact, he only started forging things from the Metal God’s bones since after the Awakening.

Memento Mori
A keepsake blade from his father, the noble knight Valon. The truth behind this blade is that it has never been used by the Templars of the Talons because of it’s forgery and heritage. According to the Aencyclopedia Daemonum, this was the first sword that the Darkforger Thamus forged by order of the Dark Council. Since they found it “weak” and said that it was one of the sissiest swords in the sissiest realm of a sissy multiverse, it was thrown away upward into the Hellplane, Stygia. Thinking that the wielder of a more powerful weapon, the Darq Talons could use such a weapon with ease, the Templars gave it to Nuvia as a memento. He named it Memento Mori, which translates to “remember your death”. It’s original name according to another Darkforger was Ssessmitjundorium.
The sword itself is based on a screaming demon head, which is used to store gallons of enemy blood, making it heavier and increasing Nuvia’s urge to kill. Darkforgers actually say that it “screams for vengeance” against demonkind for it’s rejection, which makes it a useful weapon against demons. It is the second strongest weapon against demons to the Cross… for some people.
(Warning: spoiler alert!!!)
Later in the game, before Nuvia has taken enough damage for himself to awaken his Therion, the blade is finally revealed to have a spirit inside it, and speaks to Nuvia using it’s telepathic means. This is the conversation before the Unleashing of the Beast:

Memento: “Why in the hell would you hesitate”
Nuvia: “What the…”
Memento: “Oh I get it…You’re just gonna let the b*&^%rds slip out of your claws after what they’ve done to you, aren’t you? Look at you! You aren’t even fighting BACK!!!”
Nuvia: “How the hell are you…”
Memento: “Shut up, boy. And unleash it! You know you wanna tear the entrails outta that guy over there! Do it. The rage is gonna get to you, and it’s only a matter of three. Two. One. There. Simple as that.
After that, the Memento explains to Nuvia that, he’s been waiting for the right chance to talk to him, meaning that it has always been hiding it’s own voice ever since. He thought that time was appropriate since he feared that Nuvia would not know what to do and would end up getting killed instead of awakening his Therion. Nuvia is the only one who can hear the sword and the Memento will continue to talk to him, constantly aiding him when codec calls are not enough. Nuvia though, is still unable to make out the Blade’s purpose and intentions, and dismisses it for the typical “voice that misleads you into thinking that it’ll help you”. But the Memento doesn’t even bring in ideas of this and has no intention of fooling whatsoever, even at being such a malevolent and violent-sounding voice.

The Darq Talons
Ancient weapons that can strike fear even to the hearts of gods. These are the authentic ones, as in the ones that were mentioned in the myth and the ones being protected by the Templars. These weapons cannot be colored any other color nor rust chemically. These weapons bend to the Wielder’s Will. Although Nuvia has not mastered these weapons, they are still formidable in a fight. The Talons also seem to have a connection to the wielder, as it is safe to the allies and close friends of the wielder, and lethal to the enemies and rivals of him or her. Others are continuing to replicate these weapons, almost to the extent of being maddened by failure of doing so. But some geniuses such as Richter Tarien successfully created artificial ones infused with individual abilities and power. When Nuvia uses the Talons offensively or when he means he will bring the hurt, his eyes and markings glow bright red, symbolizing death and devastation. Actually, there is more than meets the eye with these weapons. But the more vital information is a Spoiler .
All I can tell you is that the Talons’ power is of no power any mortal nor God can wield, and that the coils fly open on the Talons, revealing the red, membranous substance of power that emanates to create all kinds of power forms for yourself.

Powers and Abilities (At Last!)

Race Advantages and Appearances
Nuvia is not human at all. He defies the physical appearance and his abilities would be rare or even impossible for humans. His bones are made of a godlike metal and his skin is different of that of mortal flesh, as it is white in color and can regenerate within minutes. His blood is also not from the mortal plane. It is darker and can kill vampires upon consumption. Demons lust for this blood, but it will be hard to get, that is for sure. His hair is white too in colour, originally. But due to his sense of style, he put the red extension and others appreciate it. It cannot be cut by ordinary scissors and is described to be as thick as electric guitar strings (O.O). In case some of you are wondering why he towers above some people because of his height, it is because Nuvia is Stygian, and he is actually quite short in his race’s standards. The normal height for Stygians this age would be around 6,5. The Ancient Ones (NOT THE MAYA!) described him to have “an iron will and a back as sharp as a demon’s blade”. He also has ancient markings from “beyond” that he was born with. His father said that these are his birthmarks, and he himself said that he doesn’t need to get more tattoos. All he needs to do to fix his hair again is to either headbang real hard or face a strong wind.

Regarding The Musical Instrument
The Musical Instrument Nuvia plays is the cordless Helwardson Flametongue Custom, which he had for over 10 years. His skill in playing guitar is likened to Michael Amott of Arch Enemy, Jeff Loomis of Nevermore, Alex Skolnick of Testament and Glenn Tipton of Judas Priest, Nuvia’s favourite band in Midgard.

Mental Abilities
Even though Nuvia is a Demigod, of course he still has the frailty of the human mind. But that is only how he thinks, not how he uses his power. He takes his time with his enemies even if you manage to piss him off. He is often cocky, but maybe that’s because he thinks faster than a normal mortal, including his ability to memorize after he scans something three or more times. He always looks before he leaps which is a good advantage, but sometimes it may take too long for him to make up his mind. He tries to make up for that. Despite him being created in the same manner as that of a human, he seems to dislike lying and cheating, especially. He only lies when he has to, but never cheats.

Attitude
Nuvia as a war veteran who has experienced all kinds of crap on the battlefield is also a good tactician and knows his motive well. Being a demigod, he also has his human frailities e.g. he's a liar and a cheater and the notices of his attitude that he is cocky. He is also disrespectful to those who hate him and is often violent and animalistic in battle. He is tough on the outside, and also on the inside. He claims that threatening without physical harm is his "good side" and knows how to take it easy on the ladies too. But he will always have his good side in which he is friendly to people who are not retards or who he trusts and treats them like brothers and sisters. Well... sometimes. Negotiates well with factions and factions of warriors from every realm and is partially behind all the coalition parties. He is a very honorable warrior, but he never allows anyone to take the blame, take the hurt, or doing his job for him, as he finds this too dangerous for someone not like himself. He is true to the Warrior's Code or the Bushido as the honorable ones call it.
Knowing this, pissing him off will not kill you, but incapacitate your ability to move and turn you into a paraplegic.


Combat: Swordsmanship (Way of the Stygian Clan)
He himself devised his own way of using two blades, being able to hold both with one hand and even being capable of spinning them any way possible around his talons without hurting himself or cutting his fabric (O.O). He uses this skill to deflect shots from a loaded gun and sometimes just to show off before a fight. He has also learned how to use his Memento with ease not minding it’s insatiable thirst for blood. The gunblade he says is easier to handle because it is lighter and doesn’t need to take up power from any source. The only problem is reloading, which may take long depending on the mod it has. He is also capable of making hi blades rotate around him for about a 3 seconds, due to the presence of his Talons’ natural magnetic field.

Brutality
Nuvia has also shown himself capable of immense brutality. He is not the flashy type of warrior when it comes to battle. He goes straight to trying to either murder the opponent or if he or she does not seem to be much of a threat, get them off guard and tire them. He shows no remorse when killing someone in cold blood, but only shows concern if the target specified is an old friend or an ally left astray. But other than that, be it minion or boss, Nuvia will show no mercy to anyone who gets in his way voluntarily.

The Darq Talons and it’s Uses
The original Talons has the literal Darq power. The said element is a completely different element from Darkness. It is a completely new addition to the Table of Mana, having the abbreviation DQ and having the highest Power Number and least Intake Number. It was discovered by Richter Tarien, known as the Father of Mana and Founder of Darqness. He himself replicated one which took more than a decade to finish with non-stop research and testing. He described Darqness as an element “worse than fire and lightning”. The Gods of Old further say that it is the neutral force’s answer to evil’s Hellflame and good’s Divinefire. With it in Nuvia’s hand, he can now do lots of stuff with it. He can now cook for himself despite his lack of cooking skills and light a cigarette by just flicking the blade off the tip. And although not in full power, these are more than enough help for living.

Way of Living
Nuvia’s early life as a heir to the Darq Order was cut short during the raid. He stopped schooling at second year college and spent 7 years honing himself for his return to society and along with it, trying to forget the tragic incident. Now that he has emerged a seasoned warrior, the world he once knew has changed. More importantly, majority of the inhabitants of Stygia have forgotten or never witnessed the incident, which brings ease to Nuvia. However, many still know him as the son of Valon, which he hates being called as it brings back painful memories of the Activation. Moreover, he has never lost his GAMING SKILLS XD! He is also revered as a hardcore gamer among his friends. Those 7 years, he has also been hunting and training for fights h may encounter. Summarizing how he lived, Nuvia is a man who has endured hardship and tragedy, knowing he should keep moving forward and strive for freedom on his own.

Artists Comments:
When I looked back at the previous drawings I did for Nuvia. I noticed something. What makes a Dark Hero an even darker hero? The answer dawned on me, Nuvia’s dark persona needed Dark Armor. So I came up with the Draconian armor, Draconis Negladinica, a fitting armor, but no the first armor you wear in the game. It happens more or so after the fifth mission when you meet Ignis. Now I’m happy with what I’ve made. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!
